This was a beast of a costume that took foreverrrr to make. I would like the picture a lot better if someone had taken the time to tell me that I was twisted and tangled at the bottom and slightly off kilter at the top...Yes that's my real hair except for the bits at the front because I didn't want to have to redo that every day. I was one big shiny prop at otakon it was AWESOME

Absolutly amazing work. she was one of the first I wanted to cosplay but I'm not that skilled at sewing.

That is amazing!
Ive always wanted to cosplay someone,like Yuna or Lenne or someone.But im only 13 :'(
and i would never be able to make something as good as THAT.

haha if you would have shown me that and said, when you are in your twenties you will make this, i probably would have stared at you and called you a liar when i was thirteen. Or maybe not because i was a rather big headed thirteen year old. But still, all it requires is practice and tutorials online and a lot of imagination. Just try it!

tomoyo hime really wasn't that bad, it was kurogane's armor that was a bitch and a half. I'll be posting a tutorial on how to make her costume sometime later.

Hey I think I recognize you! I was a Fai cosplayer at otakon 2009 and I saw you in the dealer's room. After I left the con I really regretted not getting any pictures of you. Your cosplay is so amazing!!! I can't understand how you got that thing to balance on your head. o.o
Are you going to be cosplaying next year?

oh were you the one that my kurogane was macking on? Thanks for the compliment! I spent three weeks making that, and kurogane's costume as well as a tomoeda elementary summer school uniform. In answer to your balancing question, eventually i will get around to making a tutorial on the whole costume, but really it was a lot of wire and posterboard on a really wide head band. It stayed put for a good portion of the day. Hopefully next year I'll be in Germany, but depending on when Otakon is and what the terms of employment are, I may be back in time. If I am, I am entering the cosplay contest with that costume.

Wow, three weeks? that must have kept you busy! Well at least you have a sewing machine.:cry:
I'm really looking forward to the costume tutorial. The world needs more of those. Oooh, Germany! I've always wanted to go there. Is it a business trip for your job? I've never been employed so I'm oblivious to that stuff but it sounds very nice! Just make sure to make it back on time for Otakon! ^^
